Life Art

The art of living and getting the best out of life!

Life art works on the basis that there are a set of principles that enable conscious life (that is life capable of understanding and affecting its own makeup) to get the best out of itself. These principles can be vital to the ultimate survival and proliferation of any such such lifeform and go beyond the basics of the Ten Commandments and other ancient and archaic religious doctrine. Mankind has now reached a point where such principles can be observed in our own makeup and through moral choice, can be understood and applied.

Life art is about sustaining and getting the best out of life and it is ultimately what the core fundamentals of religion should be aimed at. Religion in this world has lost its way considerably over the years and is now out of date, out of tune with itself and out of tune with God and God's way of thinking. Life art is intended to substitute for religions as we now know them today, replacing them with a more modern and more appropriate understanding.

  • Life art works on the basis that our existence and the medium in which we find ourselves are all machinery and that when machinery reaches a certain level of complexity, it can in fact become conscious and self-aware, as indeed our universe and we now are.
  • Life art works on the basis that all parts of the machine are equally important and inter-dependent, and that all life itself is equally important and inter-dependent and therefore deserves consideration.
  • Life art recognises the importance of resource sharing and the importance of consideration of all parts in the machine, no matter how great or small.
  • Life art recognises the importance of freewill and that no person should impose their will on another inappropriately.
  • Life art recognises that understanding is all important and that the most valuable asset we can possess is knowledge of experience, as this is the foundation upon which all understanding is built.
  • Life art recognises the importance of trying to deal with and eradicating bad or unhealthy feelings and therefore the importance of forgiveness and tolerance in order to achieve this end.
  • Life art recognises that it is important to be in control of your emotions, rather then let your emotions be in control of you.
  • Life art recognises the importance of not carrying out acts that cause upset to others who are simply minding their own business.
  • Life art recognises the importance of trust, that is reliability and knowing where you stand.
  • Life art recognises the importance of truth, that is information accuracy and the art of not telling lies.
  • Life art recognises the importance of advice and education, over and above imposition.
  • Life art recognises the importance of leading by example and setting a good example.

We may not be able to achieve all of the above all of the time, however, we should be aiming to achieve all of the above wherever possible. There is a bar and life art is about raising that bar as high as we can. Putting the shine on your machine and reaping the benefits that come as a reward when you do so!
